Where Is Budget at the Salt Lake City Airport Car Rental?

Fastbreak Service
Proceed to the Budget counter Fastbreak line/or normal line if no Fastbreak line designation/or follow directions to the Fastbreak Kiosk. Present identification and receive your rental agreement. The counter representative will give the customer the keys & directions to their car.
FASTBREAK RETURN: Follow the airport signs for Car Rental return. You do not need to return to the counter to complete your rental. Record your mileage and fuel level on the rental agreement and drop it in the Budget Fastbreak return box. A closed rental agreement will be mailed to you within 48 hours.
General Directions
COUNTER: Exit terminal via enclosed overpass to get to Budget counter.
CARS: Cars are across the street from the car rental facility.
RETURNS: Follow signs marked "Car Rental Return".
DRIVERS CIRCLE - FASTBREAK COUNTER
When you arrive, go to the Budget Fastbreak counter in the baggage claim area. The manager or key person will have your contract ready and personally escort you to your vehicle.
Valet Return: If offered, you will be told about our service as you are escorted to your car.
After-hours Returns
The airport location is open 24 hours. The check-in area in the parking garage is closed from 11 PM to 5 AM. During these hours, returning customers please leave keys in vehicle or drop box located nearby. Remember to take your personal belongings with you.

SLC Airport FAQs

A new Salt Lake City International Airport opened on September 15, 2020. The new airport campus is very close to where the old airport stood. If you’re familiar with the route to the old airport, you can take the same roads and follow the same road signs to reach the newly built airport. The airport buildings include a new main terminal and concourses, a parking garage, and a new rental car center. 

The baggage claim is on level 2 of the SLC airport. After disembarking from your flight, you will be in either concourse A or B. Follow the signs through the terminal to the baggage claim area near the exit. If you plan on renting a car, the rental counters are just a short walk away.

The Salt Lake City International Airport is located on W Terminal Drive in Salt Lake City, Utah. Most major roads in the Salt Lake metro area connect to the airport, including I-80, I-215, and Bangerter Highway (SR-154). If you’re in downtown Salt Lake City, drive west on North Temple and you can also reach the airport.

Good news! There is only one terminal at SLC, so you won’t have to worry about walking between them. There are two concourses, A and B, which are sometimes confused for terminals. Passengers can usually walk between the two concourses in about fifteen minutes. 

Yes, you can. There is a paid parking lot adjacent to the pickup and drop-off area where you can park and walk across to the airport. You can also park in the economy parking lot and ride the shuttle to the airport. You are encouraged to wait in the Greeting Room.
