Fastbreak Service
Terminal 3- Airline passengers, after collecting luggage should proceed to the escalators in ticketing up to Level 4 to enter the station and take the escalators to Level 5 to access the boarding platform for the Sky Train. The Sky train will take customers to the Rental Car Center. Fastbreak line/or normal line if no Fastbreak line designation/or follow directions to the Fastbreak Kiosk. Present identification and receive your rental agreement. The counter representative will give the customer the keys & directions to their car.
Terminal 4- Airline passengers, after collecting luggage should proceed to board the Sky Train. The Sky train will take customers to the Rental Car Center. Please proceed directly to your car. The stalls are labeled in alphabetical order.
MIDNIGHT TO 6:00 AM: The main rental counter is closed. Customer should proceed to the Fastbreak line/or normal line if no Fastbreak line designation/or follow directions to the Fastbreak Kiosk. Present identification and receive your rental agreement. The counter representative will give the customer the keys & directions to their car.
The Sky Train is free and runs 24 hours a day seven days a week with stops every 3-5 minutes.
FASTBREAK RETURN: Follow the airport signs for Car Rental return. You do not need to return to the counter to complete your rental. Record your mileage and fuel level on the rental agreement and drop it in the Budget Fastbreak return box.

DRIVERS CIRCLE
When you arrive, the manager or key representative will personally meet and escort you to your vehicle, which will be waiting curbside. Returns should be made to the designated area.
VALET RETURN SERVICE: If offered, you will be told about our service as you are escorted to your car.

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is commonly referred to as Phoenix airport or its airport code, PHX. It’s the largest of the three airports in Phoenix, the largest airport in Arizona, and one of the top 10 busiest airports in the United States. 

It’s not known where Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport got its name. J. Parker Van Zandt named the airport in 1928. It was operated independently until 1935 when the city of Phoenix purchased the airport. Unlike many airports in America, PHX hasn’t changed its name since its creation. 

Yes, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is the largest airport in Arizona and has an average of over 18 million passengers annually. Additionally, it’s one of the 10th busiest airports in the United States. While many carriers serve PHX, Southwest Airlines is its largest carrier. 

Phoenix Sky Harbor currently has two terminals, numbered 3 and 4. Terminal 1 was completed in 1952 and demolished in 1990, and Terminal 2 was completed in 1962 and closed in 2020. The remaining Phoenix Sky Harbor International Harbor terminals were named for John S. McCain III (Terminal 3) and Barry M. Goldwater (Terminal 4). 

Phoenix Sky Harbor airport is located around five miles from downtown Phoenix. After picking up your rental, you can reach the downtown area in about 10 minutes by jumping on I-10 West and taking exit 145A for North 7th Street. You can follow North 7th Street to downtown Phoenix.
