Rhode Island tolls are collected on the Claiborne Pell Newport Bridge—there are no other tolled roads in the state. As of 2021, tolls are only collected electronically to streamline traffic and make toll collection more efficient. The bridge connects the city of Newport with Jamestown across Narragansett Bay, making it a vital transportation method for residents and travelers.
