Where Is Budget Car Rental at the Austin, TX, Airport?

Fastbreak Service
Fastbreak Members may proceed directly across the street from the arrival gates to the 3rd level of the parking garage. Fastbreak is the first booth on the right.
General Directions
COUNTER: Located near the baggage claim area.
CARS: Located right outside the terminal.
RETURNS: Same as pickup.
DRIVERS CIRCLE
When you arrive, proceed directly across the street from the arrival gates to the 3rd level of the parking garage. Budget is located in the first booth on the right. The manager or key person will have your contract ready and personally escort you to your vehicle.
Booth hours are Monday - Friday, 8AM to 6PM.
After-hours Returns
Park & lock vehicle. Place keys & completed contract in the gray mailbox located at the Budget return kiosk.

AUS Airport FAQs

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport has 34 gates in the main terminal, Barbara Jordan Terminal, and two gates in the smaller South Terminal. In total, there are 36 gates. 

The Austin-Bergstrom Airport features permanent and rotating art installations interspersed between airport gates in the Barbara Jordan Terminal for passengers to enjoy while waiting. 

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport has two terminals. The main terminal is called Barbara Jordan Terminal. From the Barbara Jordan Terminal, you can take flights from major airlines such as Delta, American, and Southwest. 

The South Terminal is much smaller and offers flights from Allegiant and Frontier airlines. A shuttle goes back and forth between the two.

There’s a free Cell Phone Lot where you can wait for your passenger to arrive. Once they’re ready to be picked up from the Barbara Jordan Terminal, drive to the baggage level of the terminal, collect them, and be on your way. 

There’s also a Cell Phone Lot near the South Terminal, right next to the Economy Lot.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is less than 12 miles from downtown Austin. By car, it is about a 13-minute drive. If you rented a car from Budget, be sure to give yourself plenty of time to drop it off in the return area before you need to catch your next flight.
