Where is Budget Car Rental at MDW airport?

Take the glass-door exit near carousel 3 in the baggage claim area and proceed to the shuttle stop. The rent-a-car shuttle is available 24/7 and will take you to the Rental Car Facility, which is a 4-minute ride away.

Once you arrive at the rental car facility, just walk up to the Budget counter, and an agent will be happy to assist you. Fastbreak customers should take the elevator to level 3 for assistance.

Midway Airport Rental Car Return

Return your MDW car rental to 5150 W. 55th St., Chicago. The Budget lot is located on Level 4 of the Rental Car Facility. Car returns can be checked in 24 hours a day, and a shuttle will take you back to the main terminal.

How old do you have to be to rent a car in Chicago, IL?

To rent at our Midway Airport car rental location, drivers need to be at least 21 and have a valid driver’s license and credit card. If the renter is below the age of 25, the bill will include an underage surcharge of $27 per day.

General Directions
COUNTER: Follow signs to the baggage claim area then exit glass doors near carousel number 3, walk to the designated rental car shuttle bus stop and board a common rent-a-car bus for a 4-minute ride to the rental car facility. The busses operate 24 hours a day and depart regularly for the rental facility. Upon arrival at the Rental Car Facility, proceed directly to the Budget rental counter.

RETURNS: Enter the rental car return entrance off of 55th Street. Follow signs to Budget vehicle return which is located on level 4. They will lead to the Budget car rental lot.

AFTER-HOURS RETURNS: The rental counters close every night at 2 AM; however, there is an agent on duty in the returns area to check in car returns 24/7.
DRIVERS CIRCLE
When you arrive, go to the Budget counter in the baggage claim area. The manager or key person will have your contract ready and personally escort you to your vehicle.
Valet Return: If offered, you will be told about our service as you are escorted to your car.
After-hours Returns
Park & lock the car. Place the completed contract & the keys in the Drop Box located in the Returns area. Remember to take your personal belongings with you.
