Where Is Budget at the Southwest Florida International Airport?

Fastbreak Service
Proceed to the Budget counter Fastbreak line/or normal line if no Fastbreak line designation/or follow directions to the Fastbreak Kiosk to the right. Present identification and receive your rental agreement. The counter representative will give the customer the keys & directions to their car.
FASTBREAK RETURN: Follow the airport signs for Car Rental return. Budget is the last car return entrance at the very end of the return area past all other car rental companies. You do not need to return to the counter to complete your rental. Record your mileage and fuel level on the rental agreement and drop it in the Budget Fastbreak return box. A closed rental agreement will be mailed to you within 48 hours.
General Directions
COUNTER: Proceed directly to the Rent-A-Car building to the left, which is located directly across the road from the baggage claim area.
CARS: Parked in the garage connected to the Rent-A-Car building.
RETURNS: Follow the car rental return signs to the car return area. Budget is the last car return entrance at the very end of the return area past all other car rental companies.
DRIVERS CIRCLE
When you arrive, go to the Budget counter in the terminal. Your contract will be preprinted for you. The Budget shuttle will then deliver you directly to your vehicle.
After-hours Returns
Park & lock the car. If arriving before 4am take the completed contract & keys and drop off at the rental counter. Remember to take your personal belongings with you. The rental counter closes after the last flight comes in and re-opens at 5am.

The airport is open 24 hours a day. However, most of the flights are scheduled to depart during the day or in the evening. The TSA checkpoints close daily at midnight and reopen the next morning before the first flight departs. Businesses at the airport base their hours of operation on passenger activity levels.

Yes, there are TSA PreCheck lanes available at all three security checkpoints. This gives you time to return your rental car before you go to security and make your gate in time. You need to go through security to access each of the three concourses. 

You should plan to arrive at RSW airport at least two hours before your departure time for domestic flights and three hours early for international flights. Returning your rental car is typically a quick process, but it’s smart to give yourself a few extra minutes on top of those suggested arrival times so you have plenty of time to check in, get through security, and make it to your gate.
