Where is Budget Car Rental at LAX?

After you’ve gathered your bags, walk outside the baggage claim area and find the purple “Rental Car Shuttles” sign suspended over a nearby traffic island. Wait for the Budget shuttle beneath the sign. You can expect a Budget shuttle approximately every 5-10 minutes. Please make sure to board the correct shuttle, as the others will take you to different rental car facilities.

LAX Rental Car Return

Budget rental car return at the Los Angeles airport is located at 9775 Airport Blvd, Los Angeles. If you’re coming in on the 405 Fwy, take the Century Blvd exit, turn west, and then turn right when you reach Airport Blvd. You’ll find the Budget location on the left. For after hour returns, place completed contract and keys in the returns drop box.

We rent to drivers as young as 21. However, any drivers under the age of 25 will have an underage surcharge of $27 per day applied to their bill, and will be restricted in the car selection available to them.

Fastbreak Service
Proceed directly to Budget bus and the driver will take Fastbreak customers to the Fastbreak canopy. Find your name on monitor and proceed to designated vehicle area. Choose vehicle & proceed to exit booth. Present driver's license & hang tag to Budget agent.
FASTBREAK RETURN: Follow the airport signs for Car Rental return. You do not need to return to the counter to complete your rental. Record your mileage and fuel level on the rental agreement and drop it in the Budget Fastbreak return box. A closed rental agreement will be mailed to you within 48 hours.
General Directions
COUNTER: **Airline Passengers** Exit the baggage claim area & look for the purple sign marked: "Rental Car Shuttles" suspended from the ceiling on the island across the way. The Budget shuttle will arrive every 5 - 10 minutes. The shuttle takes you to the rental facility at 9775 Airport Blvd. (At LAX, Avis & Budget are in separate facilities, so the customer must take the Budget shuttle to the Budget facility. The Avis shuttle only goes to the Avis facility.)
**Local Renters** From the 405 Fwy, exit on Century Blvd & turn west for 1 mile. Turn right onto Airport Blvd. Budget is on the left. NOTE: No customer parking is available on the Budget lot. Customers arriving by car need to park in the paid public areas.
CARS: Located outside the rental facility.
RETURNS: Same as pick-up.
AFTER-HOURS RETURNS: Open 24 hours.
DRIVERS CIRCLE - FASTBREAK COUNTER
When you arrive, proceed to the courtesy bus pick-up area. Inform the Budget bus driver that you are a Drivers Circle member. The manager or key person will have your contract ready and personally escort you to your vehicle.
After-hours Returns
Park & lock the car. Place the completed contract & the keys in the Drop Box located in the Returns area. Remember to take your personal belongings with you.
