Super Loss Damage Waiver (taxable)

Super LDW reduces the excess you would pay if the vehicle is damaged. If Super LDW is purchased, the renters liability is reduced to NT 0. (NT10,000 for specific car groups). The costs of Super LDW vary from NT 600 to NT 800 per day, and can be purchased at the counter. Non-Operation Charge is included when purchasing Super LDW.

Theft Protections
Included in the rental fee. The customer is liable only for the difference of market price and insurance compensation. Unless otherwise agreed, the customer shall be held solely liable or the proportion of the amount of indemnification that exceeds the insurance compensation and for the liability not covered by the said insurance (including monetary, psychological, and occupational losses) in the case that the liability hereto is caused by the customer's willful conduct or negligence.

Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess.  Just ask at the rental desk when you collect your car.

Budget Taiwan accepts America Express, MasterCard, Visa, JCB, Union Pay

Debit cards are not accepted.

At the time of rental, the driver must present a valid drivers license in the drivers name from their country of residence.  License must have been held for at least one year immediately prior to rental pick-up date.  Foreign visitors must also present their valid passport and an International Driving Permit (IDP).  All forms of documentation must be issued to the same person, in the same name, and presented together at the time of rental.

Additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the primary driver.  Additional Driver fees may apply for all additional drivers. Check at the time of rental for complete details.

Due to coronavirus pandemic the Taiwan Government are constantly updating local regulations regarding face-masks and self-isolation etc. Please note that Avis Budget & Zipcar have no choice but to follow these regulations and require all customers to do the same.  We do look forward to receiving your cooperation and understanding.

Minimum Age: 20 years
Maximum Age: 70 years

For Prestige vehicles, the renter must be over the age of 25 and und the age of 70 for self-drive.
