West Virginia tolls are primarily collected on the West Virginia Turnpike, an 88-mile stretch between Charleston and Princeton, which serves as a major transportation network for residents and visitors. Aside from the West Virginia Turnpike, there is one toll plaza (North Beckley Side Toll Plaza) off exit 48 of the Turnpike. 

West Virginia Turnpike toll fees can be paid using E-ZPass (or Budget e-Toll services) or traditional cash payments, which have higher costs for cash lane users. You cannot pay for West Virginia tolls with a debit or credit card, so come prepared with cash; exact change isn’t required though. (Source)

The North Beckley Side Toll Plaza is the last operated toll plaza off of the West Virginia Turnpike. You’ll encounter this toll plaza if you take exit 48 off the West Virginia Turnpike or enter the turnpike from State Route 19. West Virginia tolls are primarily located on the West Virginia Turnpike on I-77. The North Beckley Toll Plaza is at Exit 48 of the Turnpike. You may be able to avoid some West Virginia Turnpike tolls by changing your GPS or navigation app settings to avoid toll roads.

You will receive a toll violation if you pass through an E-ZPass lane without a toll tag (also known as a transponder) in your vehicle. You can pay violations by check, money order, or by card over the phone. If you use an E-ZPass lane without a toll tag in a Budget vehicle, you’ll automatically be enrolled in our e-Toll service.

The majority of I-64 in West Virginia is not a toll road. However, the portion of I-64 between Charleston and Beckley is tolled as part of the West Virginia Turnpike, the primary West Virginia toll road.
