The outcome of a damaged rental car depends on whether or not you purchase a loss damage waiver with your initial reservation.
If you damage a rental car, it’s important to take action immediately by following these three steps:
Contact the police and file an accident report
Contact Budget’s 24-hour roadside service at 800-354-2847
Fill out an accident report from Budget and fax the completed form to 720-479-4034
Did someone else cause the damage to the rental car? If so, make sure to get the contact information from that person to include in your reports.

Is there a grace period for rental car returns?
