Purchase of LDW (Loss Damage Waiver) is optional.  Purchase relieves the customers financial responsibility to the vehicle.  If declined, the renter is responsible for up to the full value of the vehicle and a credit card hold will apply. Other coverages are available at the time of rental.  Check at counter for additional details.

Budget in this country accepts Budget Charge Cards, American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard, Visa.  An additional charge card hold of 5,000.00 USD, if LDW is declined.  Note: Credit cards without raised numbers are not accepted.

Debit cards are NOT accepted.

Exception: Debit cards issued by local banks in Panama are accepted at the following locations with a pin number- Panama City (PTY, PT1, PT3),David (DV1).

Debit cards are NOT accepted at any other location in Panama. Check with counter for additional details.

A valid drivers license from the country of residence must be presented in pers at the time of rental.  The renters license is accepted for 90 days without additional requirements.  After 90 days the renter will need to obtain a national license.  An International Driving License is requiared for countries with a non-Roman alphabet.  Check at the counter for additional details.

 

Additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the primary driver. Be present at time of rental.  Additional Driver Fee: 3.99 USD

At this location the minimum age is 21.  The maximum age is 70.  An underage gee of 9.99 USD per day will apply for renters under 23 years of age.

Cars can be returned to other Budget locations within the same cities.  One-way rentals are subject to availability and one-way fees may apply.  Vehicles are not available for one way rentals outside this country. Cars are not allowed outside of the country.
