Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is optional
Customer is liable for the full amount of the vehicle if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not taken. If CDW is purchased, the renter's liability is reduced to EUR 800.00.

Theft Protection (TP) is included with CDW.

Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess.  Just ask at the Budget rental desk when you collect your car.

A credit card in the name of the main driver must be produced at the time of rental. Budget Slovak Republic accepts Visa, Diners Club, Mastercard. 2 major credit cards are required when renting the following car groups: D,E,O and P.

Cash: Cash may be used for the payment of rental charges only. Cash may not be used for the deposit.

Debit Cards: Debit cards may be used to pay rental charges only. Debit cards may not be used for the deposit.

Each driver must show photographic proof of identity and their passport at the start of the rental. All drivers must present a full and current driving licence which has been held for at least 1 year. The licence must be valid for use in the renting country. If your licence was issued outside the European Community you must provide an International Driving Licence. 

All forms of documentation must be issued to the same person, in the same name, and presented together at the time of rental.

Public liability insurance is with in accordance of the insurance laws of the country.

Third Party Liability covers drivers in case of damage, including damage to passengers and their property, when using a Budget vehicle.

Maximum coverage in case of personal injury is EUR 2,500,000.00
Maximum coverage in case of death is EUR 2,500,000.00

Additional drivers can be added for EUR 36.00 per rental. Any additional drivers must be present when you collect the car. All drivers must meet our conditions of rental.

At this location the minimum age is 19 for all car groups, except for the following: minimum age is 21 for car groups D (Intermediate), E (Full Size), L (Full Size) and P (Full Size Wagon) and 25 for car group O (Luxury Van).  A Young Driver fee will apply to drivers between the ages of 19 and 24.  The Young Driver fee of 12.00 EUR per day per driver, with a maximum 84.00 EUR per rental per driver.
