 Seats may not be removed from a mini van or any other vehicle. So, if you need more space, consider renting a Budget cargo van or truck.
 Assistive Devices for Individuals with Physical Challenges
Hand controls for use by individuals with physical challenges are available at no extra charge. 24-hour minimum advance reservations are required. This equipment may not be available on all makes and models of cars. If you need this special equipment, please call 888-221-1203 for details and reservation confirmation. Please note that Budget cannot provide assistive devices on all makes or models, nor confirm a reservation for a particular make or model on any rental.
 Child Safety Seats
At corporate-owned locations, if your child safety seat reservation is made 48 hours prior to pick up, we guarantee availability. Within 48 hours of pick up and at licensee-owned locations, your safety seat request will be held with your reservation, but the rental is made on a first-come, first-served basis so availability is not guaranteed. Rates vary by location but average about US $10 per day with a maximum of US $60 per rental.
Use rear-facing infant seat for an infant up to 22 pounds; a toddler safety seat for a child up to 40 pounds; and a child booster seat for a child over 40 pounds.
Due to liability issues, Budget personnel are not permitted to install child safety seats into vehicles for customers.

iPod-Compatible Cars
Some Budget cars are equipped with manufacturer-installed iPod-compatible chargers and docks at no extra charge. Due to limited supply, these vehicles are not reservable – but if you make a request when you pick up your rental, we’ll make every effort!
 No-Smoking Cars
Based on availability at the time of rental, for no additional charge Budget will always try to accommodate your request to provide a no-smoking vehicle. While smoking is not permitted in cars rented from corporate-operated locations in the U.S. and Canada, renters sometimes violate this rule without our knowledge. Be assured, your Budget team does our best to offer you a fresh-smelling vehicle each and every time.
Satellite Radio
Some Budget cars are equipped with manufacturer-installed satellite radio at no extra charge. Due to limited availability, these vehicles are not reservable – but if you make a request when you pick up your rental, we’ll make every effort!
 Ski Racks
The cost and availability of ski racks varies by location, but usually average about US $7 per day. We display availability and the cost of the ski rack at your chosen location in Step 3 of the online reservation process.
