Rent a Car at Lima/Barranco

CDW is optional at all locations and is taxable.  If CDW accepted Non Waivable excess (NWE) is USD 1,200.00.  If declined, customer is responsible for full value of vehicle.  PAI is available, cost varies by car group.  Customer is still responsible for stolen accessories.

A major credit card in the name of the primary driver must be produced at the time of rental.  This location accepts Diners Club, American Express, Discover Card, Mastercard, Visa.  A charge card hold of 700.00 USD to 2500.00 USD, depending on car group rented, will apply. Due to local credit card policies, a part of the total rental amount has to be charged on the credit card.

Debit cards are not accepted.

A valid national driving license from the renter's country of residence must be presented in person at the time of rental.  For rentals lasting more than 180 days, drivers must also obtain a local driving license. 
International driving license is required only for countries with non-Roman alphabet. International driving license is a translation only.

Public liability insurance is with in accordance of the insurance laws of the country.

Customer may inquire for additional information of the benefits, conditions and

acceptance at the time of rental.

Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit

of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer

before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

Additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the primary driver. The charge for the additional driver is USD 2.50/day, plus tax unless the additional driver is the spouse.  Underage fees do apply.

An underage driver fee of 20.00 USD per day plus tax will apply for renters age 18 to 20.

Reservations for all car groups will be honored up to 30 minutes after the reserved time.  After that the reservation will be considered as a no-show.

Cars can be returned to other Budget locations within this country.  Luxury, Full Size Van and Special groups are not allowed to be driven in the Sierra Mountains of Peru.  Economy cars are not allowed outside the city of Lima.  Vehicles are not available for one-way rentals outside this country.
