Rent a Car at Owen Roberts Intl Airport (GCM)

Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is optional. NOTE: Grand Cayman does not accept coverage from third-party insurance companies (i.e. insurance coverage from foreign countries or insurance sold through travel companies). Purchase of LDW relieves the customers financial responsibility for the vehicle as the result of accident or theft. If LDW is declined, the customer is responsible for the full value of the vehicle. A police report must be obtained in the event of an accident. Purchase of the optional Third Party Liability Waiver (TPLW) is optional and reduces the customers financial responsiblity. In the event of an accident, customer is responsible for the Non-Waiverable Excess (NWE) of 2,000.00 USD for damage to the third party vehicles. If TPLW is declined, customer is responsible for the full value of the vehicle. Personal Accident Protection (PAP) covers immediate medical costs on the island for all persons in the Budget vehicle if injured due to an accident, up to 2,000.00 CID per person. Fee for all car groups is $3.00 USD per day.

A major credit card in the name of the primary driver must be produced at the time of rental.  This location accepts American Express, Budget Charge Cards, Mastercard, Visa.  An additional charge card hold will apply.

Debit cards are not accepted.

Valid driver's license from country of residence is required.  Each driver must purchase a Cayman Islands visitors driving permit at a cost of 20.00 USD per person.  (Price of Temporary Driver License is set by the C.I. government and subject to change without notice.)  License is valid for the duration of customers stay.  International driving license is required only for countries with non-Roman alphabet.  International driving license is a translation only.

Additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the primary driver.  Additional Driver fees may apply for all additional drivers. Check at the time of rental for complete details.

At this location, the minimum age is 21 for all car groups.  Maximum age is 80 for all car groups.  An underage fee will apply for renters 21-24 of 20.00 USD per day.

The additional driver must meet the same restrictions as the primary driver. An additional driver fee of 20.00 USD/day applies. (A Temporary Driver Permit charge applies for each driver.)

Reservations for all car groups will be honored whenever a customer arrives late for the same day until the location closes.
If the customer will need the reservation the following day because of the delay, the customer must call the location directly to ensure the vehicle will be available.

Cars can be returned to other Budget locations within the same cities.  One-way rentals are subject to availability and one-way fees may apply.  Vehicles are not available for one way rentals outside this country. Cars are not allowed outside of the country.
