If flying in, the rental counter is within the terminal with a short walk to the car lot.
Coverage: Customer will be asked to leave a damage responsibility as a deposit. Renter must purchase either the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection (TP) or
Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) and Super Theft/Lost Waiver(STP).
Credit Card insurance coverage is not accepted. Customer Responsibility if CDW and TP or SCDW and STP are not taken is full value of Budget vehicle. If CDW and TP or SCDW and STP are accepted it reduces customer responsibilty to an amount ranging from 3000.00 BTP to 45000.00 BTP depending on car group rented.
Personal property is not covered by the purchase of any waiver options. Towing in the event of an accident is not covered by the purchase of any waivers. Waivers do not cover windscreen, tyres, sandstorm damage or damage cased by animals on the road.
If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess. Just ask at the Budget rental desk when you collect your car.

A major credit card in the name of the primary driver must be produced at the time of rental. This location accepts American Express, Budget Charge Cards, Diners Club, Mastercard / Eurocard / Access, Visa.
Debit cards are not accepted.
Valid driver's license from country of residence is required. International driving license is required only for countries with non-Roman alphabet. International driving permit is a translation only.

Minimum age is 21 years with a Diners or American Express charge card, 23 years with other Budget honored charge cards. Young driver surcharge 55.00 BTP per day.
Note: Renters must have with a valid unendorsed drivers license that has been held for a minimum of three years. It is a Botswana legal requirement to have the drivers license in possession at all times.

Rates including unlimited mileage are not applicable to Botswana residents. To qualify for unlimited mileage rates, renters must produce an international passport and return airline ticket to their country of origin. Botswana renters can obtain quotes on www.budget.co.za.
Additional driver must meet the same requirements as the primary driver. A fee of BTP 292.00/rental, plus tax will be charged for additional drivers.
Domestic one way rentals are permitted. International one way rentals are permitted.
