Bob Lambert is senior vice president of commercial sales for Avis Budget Group, Inc., the parent company of Avis Rent A Car, Budget Rent A Car and Budget Truck Rental. Named to this position in April 2004, Mr. Lambert leads all of Avis Budget Group's commercial sales efforts in North America, leading a large team of professionals dedicated to providing outstanding service to accounts in the corporate, local market, insurance replacement and truck rental segments.

As the leader of the North American commercial sales team, Mr. Lambert has overseen the growth and development of the Company’s sales organization with a focus on listening to the customer and tailoring the various products and services the Company offers to meet the unique needs of each customer. Mr. Lambert also played a key leadership role in the integration and formation of the unified Avis Budget sales organization following the acquisition of Budget Rent A Car in 2002.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Lambert served in roles of increasing responsibility within the Company’s sales organization including District Sales Manager, National Account Manager and as Vice President of Sales, Western Region. He also previously held sales roles in consumer products with Texas Instruments, Inc.
 
Mr. Lambert is married and has two sons. He graduated with a Bachelors degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
